“Ana” comes from my name, Anastasiia. “Lesnaya” means “forest” in Russian — a tribute to the Ural forests and mountains where a piece of me will always remain.
I grew up surrounded by their beauty and grandeur, which set my imagination free.
Sitting atop an abandoned Soviet tower deep in the woods, I would gaze at the mountains, listen to echoes, and feel the wind in my hair. In those moments, fairy tales came alive — trolls, spirits, elves — and I realized I wanted to share magical stories, to keep hearts warm and open to wonder.
I would dip my hands into Lake Sinara and lift colorful stones and mountain crystals, dreaming of turning them into rings and pendants — pieces that carry the magic of my imagination.
Through photography and jewelry, I create worlds for others to explore, inspiring them to craft and tell their own stories.
